SPECTACULAR, magical and inspiring – that’s the ever-changing Trafford Centre at Christmas.

The big Christmas lights switch-on is 28 October, when the festive feeling sparkles across the Centre with £1million worth of brand new animatronic lights. Santa’s new Narnia-themed ice grotto opens on 14 November, creating a breath-taking Christmas experience perfect for youngsters. And of course the biggest sales in the northwest await you in January! Every day in the run-up to Christmas sees traditional brass bands and choirs take to the malls, as we go all-out to create a memorable day for everyone. The Centre boasts the widest variety of designer shopping outside of London’s Oxford Street, including the first Selfridges in the North, a giant John Lewis, Debenhams and Marks & Spencer. Exciting new openings for Christmas 2010 include the incredible LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, handbag heaven at Radley’s, a new flagship store from BANK, fashion at Lipsy and Guess, an extended H&M and a new shoe lounge at Next. Take a break from the shops with Thai cuisine from the UK’s first Chaobaby, Danish flavours from the new Kro and gob-smacking burgers from the new Gourmet Burger Kitchen – as well as more than 60 other menus from which to choose. And this Christmas, the new Aerial Extreme tree-top adventure course adds yet another adrenalin buzz for shoppers, already flocking to the Airkix indoor sky-diving tunnel, and our Chill Factore real-snow indoor slopes. Extended opening hours over the festive season mean you’re never rushed, and you can treat yourself to a leisurely stroll picking up gift ideas from electronics and books to cosmetics and kids stuff. Everyone in your group will be given a voucher book offering discounts up to 30%, and all drivers receive a FREE meal voucher plus a FREE film ticket to our amazing 20-screen ODEON cinema. So while you take in the sights and get that festive feeling, you can rest assured that your guests are having the time of their lives at The Trafford Centre this Christmas.
