Tramac Announces The “N-Series” Breakers, An Affordable Alternative

Tuesday, March 6, 2012, Statesville, North Carolina- Tramac is announcing a new hydraulic breaker line called the “N-Series”. What makes the N-Series unique is its position within the traditional premium Tramac line. “The N-Series breaker is designed and assembled by Montabert, renowned for their innovative engineering and quality standards. Combine that with Asian economies of scale, and we’ve got a really robust and well-priced hammer,” says John Sad, Tramac Product Manager. “While the N-Series doesn’t share all the features of Tramac’s V-Series, they do share the reliability, quality, and long-life that the Tramac name represents,” states John.

The N Series is a nitrogen-fired breaker combining a shock system with blank-fire protection to provide powerful blows, reduced vibration and less wear on the internal components plus an optional breaker-mounted grease station, all in a very competitive price package. “The market has asked for an entry level breaker with an eye on value that provides strong performance at a lower price without compromising on quality…and we delivered,” says Mr. Gregory Henry, Tramac’s General Manager.

The N-Series breakers are currently offered in 2,000, 5,000 & 8,000 ft./lb. classes, for carriers from 10-37 tons. A 3,000 ft./lb. class will be launched this Spring, with additional models to come. All are designed for heavy-duty use in breaking rock and concrete demolition. The N-Series breakers are identified with its charcoal gray color and N-Series logo. This will also visually differentiate the N-Series from the traditional Tramac “green or V-line”.
