Andy Friedman and Moshe Milevsky Featured at 2012 Events

DENVER – November 28, 2011 – There has never been a greater demand for advisors with expertise in a wide array of client concerns. To support these top financial professionals, Transamerica will host the fourth annual Coaching Forums this spring.

Each event includes a valuable combination of business-building ideas, educational workshops, motivational speakers and economic insight.

“We continue to receive positive feedback from top advisors on the value of this event,” said Dave Paulsen, Chief Executive Officer at Transamerica Capital, Inc. “We’re confident our Coaching Forums will continue to provide useful material for financial professionals to grow their business. We will work further to refine this elite program, pursuing innovative ways to grow our business together with those who attend. We expect the 2012 events to be our best yet.”

Two widely recognized speakers have are already committed to the program. Andy Friedman, an expert on Washington political affairs, predicted Washington outcomes such as the stalemate on meaningful deficit reduction efforts, the risk of a downgrade in the credit rating of U.S. debt, severe negative reaction from China and a market swoon beginning in May (when federal stimulus ran out and spending cutbacks began).  With the current political unrest in Washington, the need for Friedman’s ability to detect and unravel current events is greater than ever. Friedman will discuss specific strategies financial professionals should consider in light of changing legislation and the ongoing political environment in Washington.

Moshe Milevsky, a tenured professor at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, has also committed. One of the industry’s premier speakers and authors, Milevsky has written eight books, more than 50 peer-reviewed papers, and 200 magazine and newspaper articles on the topics of insurance, investments, pensions, retirement and annuities. Since 2002, he has been a Fellow of the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, and has lectured at universities such as the Wharton School of Business and the London School of Economics.

Four Coaching Forums are slated for the following locations and dates:

Boston, MA                    March 22-23, 2012

Los Angeles, CA             April 26-27, 2012

Dallas, TX                       May 3-4, 2012
