Transtema acquires DMC Nordic and Baltics Transtema has, as of May 1, acquired all shares in Mailborn AB. Mailborn holds an exclusive distribution agreement with Digital Microwave Corporation (DMC) in the Nordic and Baltic region. DMC is a leading provider of microwave radios for broadband and telecommunications with an impressive market presence in the region. Many customers are highly ranked operators in their respective market. The purpose with this acquisition is to further strengthen the market position of Transtema respective DMC in the region. This will be achieved by having an outstanding offer in terms of products and services for wireless broadband solutions. Today DMC has a very strong position in the market segment mobile telecom operators, while Transtema is the market leading systems integrator in the broadband wireless access for the new generation networks. Together the two will create an extraordinary offer to the wireless access market in the region consisting of 9 countries. Mailborn AB is now a fully owned subsidiary in the Transtema group.
