Trelleborg’s acquisition of manufacturer of advanced composite components finalized

Trelleborg has finalized the acquisition of the U.S.-based privately-owned Automated Dynamics that specializes in the manufacturing of advanced composite components for particularly demanding applications. These composites are a strategic, adjacent technology for Trelleborg with high potential in a multiple of industries such as aerospace and chemical applications, and in the long run also for other markets. 

The company is located in Niskayuna, New York. Sales amounted to approximately SEK 65 M in 2016. This bolt-on acquisition is part of Trelleborg’s strategy to strengthen its positions in attractive market segments. 

The transaction will be consolidated as of December 12, 2017.
