Trelleborg’s acquisition of manufacturer of precision seals for the aerospace industry finalized

Trelleborg has finalized the acquisition of a U.S.-based subsidiary of CoorsTek, Inc. that specializes in the manufacturing of precision seals for the aerospace industry. The acquisition will further strengthen Trelleborg’s presence in North America and in sealing solutions for major aircraft programs.  

The operation is located in El Segundo, California. Sales amounted to approximately SEK 115 M in 2015. This bolt-on acquisition is part of Trelleborg’s strategy to strengthen its positions in attractive market segments. 

The transaction will be consolidated as of November 21, 2016.
