Trelleborg Updates its Industry-Leading O-Ring Calculator
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, one of the world’s leading developers, manufacturers and suppliers of precision seals and bearings, has updated its much used O-Ring Calculator with a new even easier to use layout and added features.
The most important enhancement is calculation of total compression forces. In addition, there is a differentiation between static and dynamic applications as well as improved file saving options. The calculator also boasts a better user interface, language functionality, flexible choice of systems of units and improved ISO quick search. This means that from now on, calculation files can easily be shared between design engineers from different countries.

The online O-Ring calculator offers engineers and professionals a quick and easy way to calculate O-Ring dimensions and the appropriate housing layout in accordance with the international O-Ring standard ISO 3601. By simply entering installation specifications for an application, it recommends O-Ring sizes, housing layout and corresponding part numbers. The calculator is available free-of-charge from tss.trelleborg.com.
This O-Ring Calculator is part of a suite of tools and apps from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions that includes the highly successful ISO Fits & Tolerances and Unit & Hardness. All are available at tss.trelleborg.com and apps are free from iTunes or via the Apple App Store on the iPhone and iPod Touch.
