Trend appoints new Managing Director

Trend Control Systems, the leading international manufacturer and supplier of state-of-the-art Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), has announced that Claire Brissot has been appointed as its new Managing Director. She succeeds Arman Saeidnia, who has taken up another role within Honeywell.

A PhD qualified scientist from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, Claire will be based in Rolle, Switzerland. With 16 years of industry experience in multinational organisations, her appointment to this senior role follows three highly successful years at Honeywell, originally as Product Line Director and more recently as Global Customer Marketing Director, where she was responsible for promoting and growing the company’s market share in automation control solutions with field devices. Her impressive career also includes periods at GE Plastics, Alstom Power and Dupont in a variety of R&D, marketing, supply chain, business development and product management positions.

Claire will report directly to Richard Lattanzi, the company’s Vice President and General Manager for the Commercial Line Of Business within the newly announced Environmental & Energy Solutions (E&ES). She takes a position on the Commercial leadership team. Here she will configure the strategic direction and management for Trend in the rapidly expanding BEMS sector, while building on the company’s leading industry position and levels of growth. Her desire to integrate the various departments within the organisation, including the newly announced Partner Channel sales team, as well as engineering, marketing and product development, will be a major factor in her on-going success.
