Trio signs order with municipality of Landskrona to connect 1,000 mobile phones to its switchboard Trio is continuing to consolidate its position in the Swedish market for call and message handling systems, this time with an agreement with the municipality of Landskrona worth approximately SEK 1 million. The municipality of Landskrona is upgrading its current call and message handling system with Trio PresentOffice 3.1 Mobile Edition. Telephonists working for the municipality will then be able to handle mobile phones in the same way as they do fixed telephones, and employees will also have access to all vital switchboard functions via their mobile phones. The system allows employees greater freedom to work while on the move, and they will still be reachable as if they were sitting at their desks. The order will be Trio's largest installation of Mobile Edition, covering some 1,000 mobile extensions. The municipality of Landskrona leases its switchboard, call and message handling system and infrastructure from Trio's partner Dotcom through the service known as "Communication as Service". This service enables the customers to tailor their telephony solutions to include fixed and mobile phones, customer service functions, etc. "All businesses in the municipality of Landskrona should be offered the same telephone functions regardless of geographical location.
