Trio to implement restructuring programme In order to adapt the company's operations to the prevailing market climate, the Board of Trio has decided to implement a restructuring programme with a view to attaining profitability more rapidly. The action programme will entail reducing staff numbers at the Group by around 20 employees, reducing the level for break-even from SEK 150 million to SEK 125 million. The action programme is expected to reduce costs by a total of approximately SEK 20 million on an annual basis. The restructuring programme will make it easier for the Group to attain the goal the Board has set itself of reporting a positive result and cash flow during the year. The action programme will cover all product areas at Trio and will entail reducing staff numbers at the Group by around 20 employees to a total of approximately 73 employees. This means that restructuring costs of approximately SEK 7 million will be charged to the Q1 result for 2003. The implementation of this restructuring programme leads the Board to believe that a new share issue is not currently necessary. Trio strengthened its position in the mobile operator market during 2002 and considerable interest has been shown in Trio's mobile operator solutions. The purchasing patterns of mobile operators and corporate customers are still characterised by considerable caution, however, and purchasing processes are longer than before.
