Engineering Skills at Triteq

Report this content

By 2020, to comply with EU Law, the UK must generate 15% of its energy from renewable sources.* This presents huge challenges for the UK and creates a increasing need for investment in technology and for skilled engineers.  The government has highlighted that there is a skills shortage, which is highlighted in the Working for a Green Britain Report.

Where will these skills come from and how can we ensure that the UK can meet its targets and emerge as pioneers in directing and building a low carbon economy? Where are the companies in the UK with the skills and knowledge to fulfil and execute renewable energy challenges?

Skills at Triteq

Triteq is a product design and development company working with entrepreneurs, start-ups and multi-nationals. Our business model is underpinned by strong engineering skills, in electronic, software, hardware, production and industrial design.  Formed twenty years ago our business has been built on engineering excellence, experience and achievements. We have a blend of skills that ensures we can meet the challenges and create solutions that deliver right first time designs for our clients.

Measuring & Monitoring

We have a proven track record in an extensive range of achievements across multiple industry sectors from continuous monitoring of highly sensitive performance sensors to the most intricate medical devices.

Triteq has extensive experience of intrinsically safe product design and explosion proof enclosure design. We have gained approval for several products through many notified bodies such as SIRA and BASEEFA. Our in-house experts in ATEX design are capable of advising the best suited approval route for your product design and defining the method of implication.

Triteq is a principle leader in the field of electronic design and production services with a proven track record of producing winning products for a wide range of clients and industries.

Triteq works with and enhances the very latest in electronic design solutions and ensures that its staff are compliant and expert in these and emerging technologies advising on sometimes inevitable changes in technology through the lifecycle of a project. It specialises in specific solutions to address its customer’s requirements including control platforms, electro-mechanical design and telemetry technologies including GPS, GSM, GPRS and Bluetooth for communication, information, control and reporting.

We appreciate that our success is underpinned by the collaborative efforts of our talented people and the diverse variety of skills they bring to our company

Working in energy sectors

Triteq has extensive experience of designing products covering a wide range of applications. All of the technical regulatory documentation has been produced by Triteq for the devices alongside the design documentation.

The increasing regulatory burdens on design increase the imperative to understand and accurately interpret the regulatory framework for all design projects. When teams get this wrong –costs soar and time frames are missed.

At Triteq we have created a collaborative and innovative learning environment, with a strong focus on designing it once and designing it right. Our design approach personifies our commitment to achieve excellent results, accurately, efficiently and cost effectively.  We focus on getting it right at each stage, testing and tracking to ensure that we fulfil all the relevant European Directives, for every project.

Triteq's design procedures are approved to ISO9001 and ISO13485 by TUV (Munich) and this is the Standard required to develop safety critical medical products.  Triteq operate a risk based design process conforming to European directives such as 93/42/EEC.

Universities are incorporating renewable energy courses into their engineering courses and the University of Exeter** has an undergraduate renewable energy degree programme and anew organisation was created in 2011, Renewable Training network (RTN) specifically to help train highly skilled workers so they can make the transition into the renewable energy sector.
