Statistics have shown that increasing amounts of people are replacing the carpets in their homes with hardwood flooring. Although this recent flooring trend came unexpectedly to the flooring industry, experts say that these statistics are not actually that surprising. This trend indicates that despite shoppers hunting out bargains, and cheaper alternatives for costly products they are not willing to compromise of the quality of their flooring. And that they would rather choose a more expensive choice of flooring that stands the test of time over a cheaper, less hardwearing product.
