Truecaller AB announces Bing Gordon as new Chairman of its Board of Directors

Truecaller, the leading global platform for verifying contacts and blocking unwanted communication, is pleased to announce that Bing Gordon has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Truecaller AB. As a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Gordon has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2020. Nami Zarringhalam, co-founder of Truecaller and Chairman of the Board since 2018 will remain in the company both as member of the Board as well as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

“Making Truecaller ready for listing is one of our objectives this year. We are also in an exciting development phase with significant growth opportunities ahead. My main priority as co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, is to continue to develop our products together with Alan and the rest of the team. I am thrilled that Bing Gordon has accepted the role as Chairman and extended his current commitment to Truecaller further,” says Nami Zarringhalam.

Bing Gordon is today a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He is currently a special advisor to the board of Amazon, having previously been a member of its board from 2003 to 2018. Gordon is a former chief creative officer at Electronic Arts and investor and director at Zynga (IPO 2011) as well as a board member of the listed language learning app, Duolingo.

Truecaller AB is a newly formed holding company that will replace True Software Scandinavia AB as parent company in the Truecaller Group.
