Truecaller announces the launch of Version 12 with several exciting new features
Truecaller, the leading global platform for verifying contacts and blocking unwanted communications, today announces the introduction of a major update of its product on Android: “Truecaller Version 12”. New in this version are features such as Video Caller ID, Call Recording, Ghost call, Call Announce and a fully redesigned user interface. Truecaller Version 12 will be gradually rolled out for all Android users in India with several other countries soon to follow.

New features:
Streamlined new interface – Truecaller’s interface has been redesigned to make the calling and messaging experience more user friendly and efficient. New tabs make it easier to get to your calls, SMS and group chats.
Video Caller ID - Video Caller ID allows users to record a short video that plays automatically when you call friends and family. Apart from recording a selfie video, users can also set a Video Caller ID using one of the built-in templates, aiming to create a more personalized and unique calling experience.
Call Recording - With Call Recording, users can record all incoming and outgoing calls. All recordings are stored locally on the phone and never leaves the user´s phone.
Call Announce - With Call Announce, users can know who's calling without even looking at their phone. Truecaller will read out the name of the caller, even if the contact is not stored in your phone book. Call Announce will only be available to Premium and Gold subscribers.
Ghost Call - with the Ghost Call feature, the user can set any name, number and photo to make it appear as if the user is getting a call from that person. Ghost Call will only be available to Truecaller Premium and Gold subscribers.
