TT electronics named as Best Electronics Supplier 2012
Long term customer relationship development reaps rewards
Weybridge, UK, 6 August 2013: TT electronics Semelab has been presented with the annual Best Electronics Supplier award for 2012 by Aero Engine Controls (AEC), part of the Rolls-Royce Group. The award was announced at AEC’s annual supplier conference in Birmingham.
According to Annette Rothwell, VP of Supply Chain, AEC introduced the awards to monitor performance throughout the supply chain and enable it to deliver value to their end customer. She said, “Measuring quality and on-time delivery of components alongside our suppliers’ processes enables us to recognise and reward the suppliers we work closely with to help meet our customer’s requirements. In 2012 TT electronics Semelab emerged as the clear winner with a 100% record of on time delivery for a period of 24 months and no quality issues for 20 months. I’m looking forward to building on this successful relationship and collaborating closely on future projects to maintain this excellent record.”

TT electronics supplies AEC with a range of bespoke and standard semiconductor devices and resistors, most notably an IGBT power module and a diode module for the Airbus A380, and high reliability microelectronics for the FADEC engine Control.
