Webinar to feature Gartner Analyst Phil Schacter on July 24, 2013

Chatham, New Jersey, July 17, 2013: Tufin Technologies, the market-leading provider of security policy management solutions, today announced it will be hosting a webinar, called Complexity and Constant Change: A Lethal Combination for Network Security Policies and Processes.  The webinar, which will occur at 11:00 am EDT on July 24,, 2013, will feature Ruvi Kitov, Tufin’s CEO and Phil Schacter, managing vice president at Gartner, Inc.

“Effective network perimeter and zoning architectures are often dependent on a complex set of access control rules enforced by a heterogeneous mix of network and network security devices, said Phil Schacter, in a recent Gartner, Inc. report he authored, titled “How to Assess Risk and Monitor Compliance of Network Security Policies”(Phil Schacter, June 26, 2013). Tools that enable network security controls to be managed to reduce overall risk, improve compliance and operate more efficiently should be considered as an essential capability for both network security operations and security and risk management groups.”

Mr. Schacter and Mr. Kitov will dive into how organizations can effectively deal with increased network complexity, changing business needs, and their impact on security, compliance, and business continuity.  The webinar will also provide insight on best practices and intelligent automation solutions available to organizations to control and analyze security policies, better manage network changes, and more quickly and accurately respond to application connectivity requests.

“The growth in the size and complexity of the network infrastructure of organizations, combined with major shifts in how IT organizations function, has resulted in the need to reevaluate how network security policy changes and application connectivity issues are managed,” said Ruvi Kitov, CEO of Tufin.  “Webinar attendees will gain a firm understanding of how they can optimize policy management and automate change processes so that security teams can streamline operations and become a center of excellence.”

Speakers:

Philip S. Schacter is team manager for security and risk management strategies (part of the Burton Group acquisition). His focus of research is network security, security architecture, security governance, network identity and policy systems, remote work infrastructure, and security for tablets and other BYOD devices.
