TurnIT Consulting contracted by Atlas Copco CMT to develop an e-commerce system which integrates 100 different markets The agreement with Atlas Copco's business area Construction and Mining Technology (CMT) covers an assignment for the development of Web-based services for product search, product information, publication of technical information and the integration of business systems and the e-commerce site. The services will include advanced frameworks and complex business logic, and will be able to integrate almost 100 different markets. For TurnIT Consulting, which has an explicit focus on developing integrated e- commerce solutions for its clients, the agreement means continuing its already well-established partnership with Atlas Copco. Ambrosia Data and Catwalk Interactive are also participating in the project. "This is a significant strategic order, and the contract has been won in the face of fierce competition," says TurnIT's President, Peter Enström. "Our ambition to offer large integrated e-commerce solutions has proved to be a winning concept", continues Peter Enström. "Atlas Copco has a strong focus on providing its clients with an improved service, and on increasing its internal efficiency through the Internet" says Björn Hydbom, Project Manager at Atlas Copco. "TurnIT's broad expertise in both conventional business systems and e-commerce gives us confidence in the project, and was the decisive factor in our decision," continues Björn Hydbom. Ambrosia Data and Catwalk Interactive are part of TurnIT Consulting, a business area of TurnIT - one of the larger Swedish IT groups listed on the OM Stockholm Stock Exchange's O list.
