TV4 INTERIM REPORT JANUARY - SEPTEMBER 1999 ¤ TV4 retained its position as Sweden's most-watched channel. TV4's share of the viewing figures across the population rose from 26.7 per cent to 26.9 per cent. The channel com-manded a 29 per cent share of the 20 - 44 year-old age group (29.2). ¤ Net sales increased by 3 per cent to SEK 1, 446 million. Profit after net financial income/expense totalled SEK 50 million, an improvement of SEK 22 million on the same period in 1998. ¤ The franchise fee payable to the Swedish State increased by 4 per cent, totalling SEK 302 million. TV4 Group pre-franchise fee profit was SEK 352 million, an increase of SEK 33 million on the same period last year. ¤ The local TV companies' net sales were SEK 206 million, an increase of tvo per cent on the same period last year.
