Bond It adds four to national sales force
Bond It, the UK’s fastest growing manufacturer of sealants, adhesives, fillers and other building chemicals, has made four new appointments to its national sales force. Three area sales managers join the business across East Anglia and Southern England, whilst a further area sales manager has been appointed to cover the north west of England following an internal promotion.
David Moore, managing director at Bond It, explains: "Bond It continues to go from strength to strength thanks to a new management team and a renewed focus on offering high performance, competitively priced products backed by the very highest levels of service. Our new area sales manager will be instrumental in maintaining that by ensuring customers across the UK enjoy good access to expert field based assistance covering everything from product selection to sales support.”
Amongst the new area sales managers joining Bond It is Marc Holliday, who takes on responsibility for a territory which covers Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and North and North East London.
Prior to joining Bond It, Marc served as a Royal Air Force police officer and also worked in various construction industry related sales roles. He was drawn to Bond It by the company’s friendly yet professional culture and its unique position in the market which enables it to be both ‘big enough to matter and small enough to care’.
Callum Harriette also joins as the new area sales manager responsible for Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and West and North West London. Callum has a strong sales track record and was attracted to Bond It having previously used and been impressed with the company’s products. He sees his new role as an exciting opportunity to sell products he genuinely believes in.
In addition, Eddie Hutchings joins Bond It as area sales manager for Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
Eddie brings with him a wealth of insight into builder’s merchants and their customers having previously worked for Buildbase as a branch rep, as well as in the sales office of Bradford Building Supplies. He also spent several years working as an area sales representative for door manufacturer, Premdor. Eddie was attracted to Bond It by the chance to make his mark within a dynamic, fast moving business.
Finally, and reflecting Bond It’s commitment to promoting from within wherever possible, the company has promoted Jack Collins from an office based sales role to become the new area sales manager for the north west of England. Jack’s promotion comes in direct recognition of his ambition, strong customer focus and expert knowledge of Bond It’s ever-growing product range.
Concluding, David Moore adds: “At a time when many manufacturers are moving away from field based sales teams to more remote methods of selling such as online or over the telephone, Bond It remains committed to having boots on the ground. Our new area sales managers take up their roles at a particularly exciting time as we celebrate major milestone after major milestone - including record-breaking financial performance. We are confident they will prove a catalyst in continuing this success.”
