ForgeFix, the leading distributor of fixings, fasteners and associated products like hop-up work platforms and drill bits, has confirmed its plans for the 2015 Totally DIY and Totally Tools exhibition.

At the show in February, the business will use its stand (Stand number J51) to promote a number of new additions and exciting enhancements to its already comprehensive range.

Specifically, visitors will be able to learn more about the company's recently extended TorxFast range.

For some time, ForgeFix has offered a selection of woodscrews under this brand which employ technical innovation to deliver what the company describes as 'smarter fixing technology'.

In order to make these next generation capabilities as widely accessible as possible, ForgeFix has recently introduced more TorxFast products to give users the choice of 27 new sizes as well as the option of various additional finishes.

Without exception, all TorxFast screws draw on intelligently considered features to make fixing into wood quicker, cleaner and easier.

These features range from a self-drilling shank on the multi-purpose screw - which eliminates the need to drill pilot holes - through to a green RUSPERT® corrosion resistant coating, which is employed on certain TorxFast products designed for exterior use and which has been salt spray tested to 1000 hours.

ForgeFix will also use Totally DIY and Totally Tools 2015 to promote a brand new addition to its offer.

Q20 is a high performance, technically advanced multi-purpose lubricant which can be used for a wide variety of applications. This includes loosening stubborn fastenings, locks and catches as well as oiling chains, ball-bearings and other moving mechanical parts.

Q20 can also be used as a cleaning fluid and to prevent rust on exposed metal surfaces. In addition, it can be employed to displace moisture in ignition systems or power tool motors, to remove corrosion and to restore connectivity in electrical circuits.

Q20 is new to the European market but enjoys strong popularity across the wider world and market share of over 70% in its native South Africa. It owes much of this success to its impressive capabilities as well as its innovative nature.

Speaking of ForgeFix's plans for Totally DIY and Totally Tools 2015, Mike Smith, marketing director at the business, said: "ForgeFix has long recognised the importance of innovation and of adding value when it comes to fixings and fasteners. That's why as well as thinking about our customers' current needs, we also try to anticipate their future demands and any ancillary requirements they might have.

"It's this all-encompassing and forward thinking approach that's led to the recent enhancement of our TorxFast range and the addition of Q20 to our portfolio. We're confident both steps will prove popular with our customers and as such, we’re looking forward to telling people more about these developments at Totally DIY and Totally Tools 2015."
