Manufacturer of sealants, adhesives, grouts, fillers, polyurethanes, waterproofing compounds and other building chemicals, Bond It has taken part in a promotional video with a difference.

The company's premises and products both play a starring role in the new and entertaining short film, which has been produced to commemorate the business’ sponsorship of the Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Football Club.

As part of an innovative approach that applies to all areas of its operations, marketing included, Bond It signed up as an associate sponsor of the Giants in 2012, backing the team throughout the 2013 Super League season.

The business took the decision recognising the exceptional opportunities it would provide to boost exposure of its brand and to raise awareness of its offer amongst the millions of fans that follow Super League every week – many of them trades professionals.

Backing the Giants, who won the 2013 League Leader’s Shield, also offered Bond It an ideal way to celebrate its local roots and to support the surrounding community as a business based on the outskirts of Huddersfield.

More recently, Bond It has signed an exclusive deal to become the Giants’ main sponsor for the 2014 season. This move will see the company’s logo proudly emblazoned on the front of players’ shirts as well as Bond It brand messaging appearing in prime locations around the team’s home ground – The John Smith’s Stadium.

The new video which can be viewed on the Bond It website – www.bond-it.co.uk/giants  – was filmed at Bond It’s West Yorkshire head office, factory and distribution centre by a student film crew from the University of Huddersfield.

As well as featuring various Bond It products, including GB PRO, a super high strength adhesive and sealant, The Gist, a highly versatile, multi-purpose sealant and Rescue Tape, a durable, self-fusing silicone repair tape, the new film also stars a number of Giants players.

This includes centre Leroy Cudjoe, prop Eorl Crabtree, winger Jodie Broughton and full-back Scott Grix. The Giants’ mascot, Big G, also enjoys a major role.

Speaking of the new film, Kirstie Cooper, marketing manager at Bond It said: “We’re delighted with the Giants’ new video which will be played on the big screen at The John Smith’s Stadium before all the team’s home fixtures during the 2014 season. It serves as a light-hearted and entertaining insight into some of our products whilst celebrating what’s become a rewarding, enjoyable and mutually beneficial partnership.”
