VIP opening for new dental practice
A new dental practice promising dental care with a difference has been officially opened by the Rt Hon George Osborne MP. Mr Osborne cut the ribbon to mark Love the Dentist Mobberley open and ready to provide the highest levels of patient care on Friday the 10th January 2014. He was acting in his capacity as Member of Parliament for the local constituency of Tatton.
The new practice, which is located in the heart of Mobberley village on Town Lane, is the third belonging to clinical director, Dr G Paysden BDS. Dr Paysden, who graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Manchester University in 2003, already owns Hope Dental Practice in Salford and Deansgate Dental Practice in the nearby Greater Manchester town of Radcliffe.
Love the Dentist Mobberley takes its unusual name from its equally unconventional approach. Recognising that many people claim to 'hate going to the dentist', the new practice aims to reverse that notion through a commitment to the highest levels of warm, friendly and reassuring dental care. It aims to help everyone love going to the dentist by making the dental experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The new practice will initially operate on an independent basis. It will offer patients across a catchment area that includes Mobberley, Knutsford, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge access to services that include teeth whitening, cosmetic braces, wrinkle reduction, dermal fillers, smile makeovers, fresh breath treatments and general dentistry.
During the opening, Mr Osborne was able to take a tour of the ultra-clean, ultra-modern practice and also view the facilities it offers. This includes a technologically advanced and very comfortable treatment room, a dedicated consultation room and a state-of-the-art decontamination room for equipment preparation and sterilisation. The practice also boasts an intra-oral scanner which stops the need for dental impressions.
Commenting on the opening, Dr Paysden said: “We’re delighted that Mr Osborne was able to officially open Love the Dentist Mobberley. Aside from his high-profile position as Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Osborne, as MP for Tatton, is a key figure within the local community and this reflects our own commitment to being a community-focused provider of dental care.
“I actually live in Mobberley and I love the area. As such, I’m looking forward to sharing Love the Dentist’s vision of how dental care should be with other local residents.”
George Osborne MP added “I am a huge supporter of small businesses and I congratulate Greg Paysden on opening his new dental practice in Mobberley. I know how challenging it is in the first few months to get a business off the ground and I wanted to show my support by opening it.”
