MOBO nominee Kristyna Myles releases her new single A Change Is Gonna Come from her 2nd studio album Paint A Brighter Day thanks to a successful campaign on PledgeMusic that enabled Kristyna to fund the album with support from music fans. All profits from the downloads of the single bought on iTunes will go to charity Tearfund who are passionate about putting an end to poverty.
Kristyna is supporting Tearfund’s No Child Taken campaign to protect children from trafficking, disaster and disease. Tearfund works in over 50 countries around the world where the need is greatest, helping communities prepare for and cope with disasters, such as Nepal. More than 8,000 people lost their lives and millions are in need of aid and support following the recent earthquakes. Teams have been trekking over landslides and mountains to some of the remotest unreached communities.
The Soulful songstress is hoping to raise awareness of the amazing work Tearfund do and the great need that is still out there. ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ is a hopeful soulful track which fits with the theme of the album Paint A Brighter Day, produced by Andy Ross and recorded at Astar Studios. Ross has also kindly donated his Producer Royalty from the single to support the Tearfund Charity.
Kristyna is playing the Tearfund Tea Tent at Big Church Day Out at Wiston House, West Sussex on Sunday 24th May where 10,000 people will be visiting.
She is also appearing at Smooth Radio’s 'Live On The Waterfront' June 6th alongside Sam Bailey.
