Calling all Guitarists! Play your Part and Strum a Chord for A Good Cause with massive Childline Rocks fundraising record breaking attempt
Now's your chance to join up to 7,000 fellow guitarists to break at least 4 world records in one day at Coventry's famed Ricoh Arena on October 14th whilst also raising much needed funds for Childline.
Entry is just £30 and on the day there will be four record attempts - The largest electric guitar ensemble, the largest Music lesson, the largest air guitar ensemble and for good measure (might as well) the most guitar amplifiers used simultaneously.
All participants will receive a free Marshall MS2 guitar amp - all Players then simply just set up a Just Giving account to raise their own sponsorship fund via friends and family. The fundraising target for the day is £250,000 and a host of VIP and Guest star appearances are promised by the Organisers.
Yamaha will be hosting the world's largest Music lesson that will be led by Guitar Ace Soren Andersen.
It promises to be a great day, excellent opportunities to meet like minded people and play your part in such a historic event- Guinness World Records experts will be on hand to monitor efforts to smash all 4 world records consecutively. Centrally located Coventry has great transport links so it's a doddle to get to, bring your friends rock out and make a massive contribution to Childline - one of the UK's most valuable charitable causes.
