Yamaha announce exclusive 'In conversation with…' video series featuring leading concert pianists and concert technicians

Yamaha have published the first batch of an extensive series of 'In conversation with…' videos featuring leading concert pianists and concert technicians. It is hoped that these exclusive short interviews will become invaluable viewing for anyone interested in the great pianists and composers of our time, and in pianos in general.

The first titles, featuring John Lill, Stephen Kovacevich, Freddy Kempf, François-Frédéric Guy, Artur Pizarro, Eduard Kunz and concert technician Peter Salisbury offer intimate and thoughtful insights into the artists’ philosophy, experiences and methods of working. Expansive, often provocative, the world's top players discuss the most important events, moments and influences that have shaped their thinking and their approach to music performance. They also provide highly informative personal thoughts on Yamaha's acclaimed flagship concert grand, the CFX.

The videos have been produced in association with Yamaha Artist Relations Europe, a small team of technical experts and piano support staff who provide exceptional service to artists and institutions selecting Yamaha pianos, in particular the CFX.
