Yamaha raises the bar with YSP-2200 3D'Slimline' digital sound projector

Yamaha led the one box sound-bar 5.1 Home Cinema Revolution with the launch of it's ground breaking YSP-1 in 2005. Since that time the company has introduced a wide range of new products all combining outstanding dynamic and powerful sound quality with innovative features. 

The latest addition to it's award-winning sound-bar range is the YSP-2200, a powerful super slimline 3D compatible product designed to fit neatly in front of a TV. It offers true cinema sound of the highest quality in a convenient package and is packed with many nifty features designed to make the listening experience better than ever. Highly compact and attractive the package includes a subwoofer that works equally well positioned vertically or horizontally.

The YSP-2200 features 11 cinema DSP programmes, 3 for movie, 3 for music and 5 'entertainment' settings which are ideal for gaming. These Cinema DSP programmes create super realistic soundscapes perfectly complimenting any type of visual output.

At the heart of the YSP-2200 are 16 beam drivers and 2 bass-reflex subwoofers mini speakers, each with it own digital amplifier - they create the true multi-channel surround sound by reflecting highly detailed beams of sounds off the walls. Yamaha's unique intelibeam function means the can YSP-2200 tune it's self to optimise performance for any size and shape of room- Brilliant

The new Music Enhancer function restores the loss of frequency response that is inherent when compressed formats like MP3 are used  - another brilliantly simple innovation from Yamaha.

The YSP-2200 also comes complete many other nifty Yamaha features including something called UniVolume which eliminate the ever irritating surges of volume levels between all the different channels, programmes and input sources. On environmental and cash saving issues  The unit is CEC compatible which means that it turns itself on and off automatically and simultaneously with the TV.

All in all a superb new product from Yamaha that will no doubt prove highly popular in the upcoming Christmas season.
