INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES HIT THE PAN-EUROPEAN TRAIL IN SEARCH OF GRADUATES AND PROFESSIONALS Brussels, June 21 - A brand new concept of recruitment forums gives international graduates and professionals the chance to start their careers in the country of their choice. Over two days, the up and coming management elite will interview with employers who are recruiting specifically for Germany, Ireland or the Netherlands. Between 100 and 300 human resource managers from leading international companies such as SAP, IBM, Reuters, Audi, L'Oréal, and Deutsche Bank will be on the outlook for tomorrows' managers. Participation for candidates is free of charge. The 'Careers in ...' events will be located in high-quality hotels in the capitals Berlin, Dublin and Amsterdam. Success is ensured through the early ''matching'' of applicants' qualifications and desires with the specifications of the attending companies. Consequently interviews are scheduled between people who really want to meet each other. The interviews take place in a private and professional atmosphere. As previous EMDS recruitment events have shown, the result is that over 50 per cent of participating candidates receive concrete job offers. In addition to the interviews, cocktail receptions and company presentations are other ways of finding out more about future employees and securing the perfect job. Graduates who are available for employment within the next six month as well as professionals with a maximum of seven years work experience -who are fluent in the language of the target country, are invited to apply.
