XEROX CONTINUES MOVE INTO NETWORK COLOUR INKJET AND LASER PRINTER MARKET Powerful DocuPrint C15 Printer For An Ultra-Low Price and DocuPrint NC60 taps internet to remote colour and B&W printing London, March 8 - Xerox has expanded its growing family of colour inkjet printers with the launch of its DocuPrint C15 Colour Inkjet Printer. The C15, available in April, offers up to 6 ppm colour and 10 ppm monochrome printing, 1200x1200 dpi resolution, and photo-quality printing out of the box all for an estimated street price of below US$300. Designed for business offices and the experienced home user, the C15 is also networkable through the Xerox CentreDirect External Print Server. CentreDirect plugs into the parallel port, allowing the printer to be connected to an Ethernet network. With its DocuPrint NC60 Colour Laser Printer, Xerox is using the power of the Internet to make office colour printing as easy as sending email. This is because the NC60 features the latest version of WorkSet Technology and is the first colour member of the N series family of Network Printers. The DocuPrint NC60 is the first truly general purpose colour printer in the market, able to deliver the highest quality colour as well black and white printing. The new NC60 Colour Laser Printer has built-in e-mail feature called MailReceive that allows users to dispatch print-ready documents directly to it.
