Cancer charity benefits from TRA industry dinner

More than £1,000 has been raised for charity by attendees at the seventh TRA sponsored tyre industry dinner. The money, which was generated through a raffle with prizes including theatre tickets, luxury food hampers and magnums of champagne, will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. “It was a great effort to raise £1,020 for Macmillan and I’d like to personally thank all those TRA members who contributed some great prizes and also those who so generously bought raffle tickets,” comments Mike Wilson, president, TRA.
