New member Jeff Fowkes ‘on song’ with TyreSafe
Radio listeners in Leicestershire will hear TyreSafe’s fantastic ‘Check Your Pressure’ song live on-air thanks to TyreSafe’s newest member – Jeff Fowkes Wheels Limited.
The catchy tune with an important message will be played throughout September and October to help introduce the tyre safety month campaign in the area, which Jeff Fowkes Wheels is already actively promoting, such as approaching its local community radio station. The company will also make a weekly appearance on the radio station throughout October, educating motorists on key tyre safety messages.
And not to worry if you don’t live in north-west Leicestershire as you can also listen live on-line at www.hermitagefm.com.
Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “It’s very encouraging to see one of our newest members so enthusiastically, and imaginatively, promote October’s tyre safety month in its region.
“It just goes to show what a little creative thinking can achieve. I would urge other tyre retailers to get involved with tyre safety month and help improve road safety in the UK.”
Other tyre safety month activities planned by the Ibstock-based wheel and tyre specialist, includes a Lady Drivers Evening, as well campaign posters in its reception area and point-of-sale leaflets for its customers.
Also as a TyreSafe member, Jeff Fowkes Wheels is now entitled to be listed on TyreSafe’s on-line dealer locator where motorists can find their nearest garage offering free tyre safety checks throughout October. Only TyreSafe members can benefit from this listing.
