TyreSafe hooks up with Wheel Solutions Ltd
TyreSafe has demonstrated its own ‘pulling power’ by announcing that its newest member is wheel and tyre supplier Wheel Solutions Ltd (WSL) which specialises in the caravan, trailer and agricultural sectors among others.
And although it is the latest member of the not-for-profit organisation, Wheel Solutions has already developed a range of dual branded material together with TyreSafe that it will use to educate and highlight tyre safety messages with its own customers.
Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “It’s great news to welcome Wheel Solutions to TyreSafe as it has wealth of knowledge in some specialist sectors that will help us drive home the tyre safety message to a wider audience.
“TyreSafe even has its own dedicated section on its website highlighting caravan tyre safety, so Wheel Solutions insight and face-to-face contact with these drivers will be very useful.”
In the UK alone, it is estimated that there are about half a million caravans and more than 100,000 motorhomes.
Meanwhile, Wheel Solutions was formed in 1999 and has grown to become one of the UK’s largest suppliers of wheels, tyres and wheel assemblies. It specialises in supplying wheel assemblies to the high speed trailer, tourer caravan, agricultural equipment, groundcare machinery , aviation ground support equipment, plant and construction markets.
“Tyre safety is an important issue whatever you are driving or pulling, whether it’s a caravan, a motorhome or a trailer, so Wheel Solutions is delighted to be able to lend its expertise in these areas to help TyreSafe,” comments Steve Budding, managing director, Wheel Solutions.

Membership is open to any business or organisation that is connected to the tyre industry or concerned with road safety. Members and supporters already comprise of a range of commercial and government organisations such as car and tyre manufacturers, retailers, emergency services and ancillary tyre services.
