A record number of garages and tyre retailers in the region are showing their support for October’s tyre safety month, which is organised by not-for-profit organisation TyreSafe, by offering free tyre safety checks to motorists. As part of this October’s tyre safety month, TyreSafe has launched a potentially life-saving pledge on its Facebook page - www.facebook.com/tyresafeuk - that is designed to help keep drivers safe on the roads this winter.
