colorado springs, colo. (Sept. 6, 2011)U.S. Figure Skating announced today a promotional partnership with Disson Skating, a longtime producer of figure skating shows.

As part of the partnership, U.S. Figure Skating members will receive benefits pertaining to the 2011-12 Pandora NBC Skating Series. Special offers include ticket discounts; access to exclusive “Chalk Talks,” question-and-answer sessions held with select skaters prior to each show; and in some cases, early ticket-buying opportunities.

“U.S. Figure Skating is excited to promote the sport of figure skating and our top skaters from the past and present alongside Disson Skating,” said David Raith, executive director, U.S. Figure Skating. “Disson Skating shows feature some of the sport’s top talent combined with unique concepts that make every show exciting for skaters and fans.”

Icenetwork.com Season Pass subscribers will also benefit from the partnership by receiving access to watch Disson Skating specials from previous seasons on-demand.

“Disson Skating has enjoyed working with U.S. Figure Skating on our NBC skating and entertainment specials and is happy to be showcasing once again many of America’s top eligible skaters,” said Steve Disson, president, Disson Skating.

In addition to the live in-arena entertainment, Disson Skating shows air on NBC for skating fans around the country to enjoy. The eight-show Pandora NBC Skating Series kicks off with “Hilton HHonors and Progressive present RAIN – A Tribute to the Beatles on Ice” on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m. EST.
