Interior Reports on Progress Toward Environmental Justice for Low-income, Minority and Tribal Communities

The U.S. Department of the Interior today released its annual Environmental Justice Implementation Progress Report for 2012. The report concludes that, while there is still more work to be done, there have been significant steps forward in the department’s commitment to integrating environmental justice into its programs, policies and activities.
