GlobalFun Sells Cross Platform Computer Game On Sailing To Telecom Giant Telenor [Gothenburg, Sweden, August 9, 2001.] Interactive entertainment company GlobalFun has received an order from telecom giant Telenor's subsidiary djuicetm for a cross-platform computer game (i.e. a game that can be played both via the Internet and wireless units) on sailing for the Volvo Ocean Race. GlobalFun is a subsidiary of the leading Scandinavian computer game developer UDS with approx. 110 employees. GlobalFun will develop and deliver the sailing computer game in time for the Volvo Ocean Race, in which Telenor's subsidiary djuicetm is sponsoring a boat. The game will be a cross platform game which can be played both via the Internet and via wireless units by visitors from all over the world. GlobalFun, which is a fully owned subsidiary of UDS, develops and supplies interactive entertainment products for the world market. Its head office is located in Gothenburg on Sweden's west coast.
