UK Mail Launches Mobile Postcard App

Leading mail and parcels company, UK Mail, have launched a brand new mobile postcard application, ‘Postcards from Pete’ available for download and use on iPhones and Android devices.
The Postcards from Pete app is free to download and lets users capture a personal moment with a picture and create a real postcard that can be shared with friends and family.
To use the app, take a photo, or select an existing image from your device or Facebook, personalise the image further with captions and frames and then simply add your message and send to your recipient. The postcard is then electronically to UK Mail’s sort centres to be printed on a5, 300gsm laminated cards for a glossy, high quality finish. Postcards are then posted out both within the UK as well as internationally.
Each postcard costs £1.29 and this includes shipping to anywhere in the world. Postcards from Pete goes one step further with the added integration of their Facebook app. The secure Facebook integration allows users to ask for their recipient’s postal address via Facebook by sending them an invitation through the app.
The user friendly interface guides you through customising uploaded images and personalising resulting in a glossy, physical postcard of those special moments. Hailed to be an ideal holiday companion the app can be used anywhere in the world.
