Unilabs - York Bioanalytical Solutions, YBS, appoints David J Browne to Business Development Manager

​- Renowned specialist brings more than 20 years of drug development experience to develop and promote new businesses at YBS in Copenhagen and York.

Unilabs YBS are pleased to announce that David J Browne has joined the company as Business Development Manager. With more than 20 years of experience within the drug development industry, including all aspects of Bioanalysis, Mr. Browne will lead the business development within Unilabs YBS in Copenhagen and York. 

Mr. Browne joins YBS from Covance Laboratories where he served as Laboratory Manager. At Covance he initially specialised in high sensitivity assays working as both a Technical Specialist and Study Director in the Special Methods group which utilised GC, GC-MS and immunochemistry techniques. He was also involved in the design of a new laboratory to amalgamate the quantitative mass spectrometers into one purpose built facility and the implementation of UPLC as the default front end for all the mass spectrometers.

In addition to his expertise and over 20 years of drug development experience, Mr. Browne is involved with the British Mass Spectrometry Society. Having served on the committee since 2007, initially as a co-opted member and then formally elected in 2008. In September 2010 he took over as Meetings Secretary.
