UT Arlington named one of the “Best in the West” by Princeton Review
The University of Texas at Arlington is one of the best colleges in the West according to The Princeton Review, the nationally known education services company. UT Arlington was selected as one of 124 institutions in the website feature, “2014 Best Colleges: Region by Region.”
The 643 colleges named to the region-by-region list constitute about 25 percent of the nation's 2,500 four-year colleges. It is available here: http://www.princetonreview.com/best-regional-colleges.aspx

The Princeton Review, widely known for its test prep programs and college guides, used institutional data and student surveys to rate schools in six categories. Those categories are: academics, admissions selectivity, financial aid, fire safety, quality of life and green.
The 124 colleges that The Princeton Review chose for its "Best in the West" list are located in fifteen states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
The University of Texas at Arlington is a comprehensive research institution of about 33,800 students in the heart of North Texas and the second-largest member of The University of Texas System.
