Tang named fellow by national biomedical engineering group

Liping Tang , a University of Texas at Arlington bioengineering  professor, has been named a 2012 Fellow of the American Institute of Biological and Medical Engineering. Tang was recognized for his outstanding contributions in advancing the understanding of biocompatibility and to transform the development of medical devices for patient care. “This is quite an honor,” Tang said. “I am honored to have been selected for my work by my colleagues. I will work toward sustaining this high standard.”
