National award recognizes nursing professor’s work with veterans
The associate director of UT Arlington’s Center for Nursing Research has been honored nationally for her work on a study of ways to support injured veterans in the workforce. Daisha Cipher was part of a research team that recently received the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine’s Elizabeth and Sidney Licht Award for Excellence in Scientific Writing in Rehabilitation Medicine. The paper recognized was titled, “Effectiveness of Supported Employment for Veterans With Spinal Cord Injuries: Results From a Randomized Multisite Study.”
