BNSF gift will allow College of Business to expand Goolsby Leadership Academy

A new commitment from BNSF Railway's foundation will allow The University of Texas at Arlington to expand the Goolsby Leadership Academy to enroll promising freshmen and sophomores to participate in the select College of Business program. Fort Worth-based BNSF, a longtime supporter of the academy, has made a new commitment of $300,000 toward the academy’s endowment. Social Work advisory board establishes endowment to support family violence research

ARLINGTON – The UT Arlington School of Social Work Advisory Council has created a new, $250,000 endowed professorship focused on issues of family violence in honor of the Arlington police officer and University alumna who was killed in the line of duty last year. Alumnus creates new $1 million UT Arlington endowment

ARLINGTON - Mike Greene had heard about a new engineering program at Arlington State College as a student at Saginaw’s Boswell High School in the early 1960s.
