ARLINGTON, Texas -- Nine faculty members from The University of Texas at Arlington are among 63 educators recognized this year by The University of Texas System Board of Regents for excellence in the classroom. ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas State Historical Association launches a new “Handbook of African American Texas” today with the help of UT Arlington History Department chairman W. The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Music to present two Holocaust Cantata performances

Songs from the CampsARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Music will present the Holocaust Cantata on March 29 and April 15, featuring music composed from the writings of Polish prisoners during the Holocaust. Carrizo makes historic gift to support UT Arlington special events center

The University of Texas at Arlington has announced the largest single cash commitment in the University’s philanthropic history, a $5 million gift toward completion of the 6,500-seat special events center on the eastern edge of campus from Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. The gift follows Carrizo’s generous $1 million contribution announced in fall 2009 that established a graduate research fellowship program to help attract top scholars and researchers to the University.
