Uniwater expands with pressure testing services in Mälardalen – acquires 3VA-Säkrare AB
Uniwater continues to strengthen its position in Sweden and has acquired 3VA-Säkrare AB ("3VA"), a market-leading specialist in pressure testing and niche water and wastewater services in the Stockholm region. The acquisition complements Uniwater's portfolio of companies and expands the group's market position in water infrastructure in Sweden.
3VA is a leading player in pressure testing and quality assurance of water and wastewater infrastructure based in Huddinge, Stockholm. The company was founded in 1990 and currently has five employees. In addition to pressure testing, 3VA also offers services such as repair of wells, separators, flushing, filming and leak detection, via subcontractors. Customers are mainly found in the construction and civil engineering sector, with the municipal sector as the end customer.
"This is an important acquisition that strengthens our presence in the Stockholm region (Mälardalen) and adds specialist expertise in the growing market for pressure testing. We anticipate opportunities for synergies with other companies in our group and we will become stronger together," says Carl Berglund, Business Area Director for Uniwater Solutions.
