Veteran Market Research Director Dominique Shu Joins Unleaded Marketing Team

Dominique Shu has joined the agency as market research director. As an industry veteran, Shu has over 20 years of leadership in international marketing management, strategic and business analysis, communications and event marketing. In her new role, Shu will lead the market research team to assess current and potential marketing opportunities for clients — as well as identifying which communications will resonate in the marketplace.

In her most recent position, she served as principal of market intelligence for Decision Strategies. Previously, she spearheaded marketing initiatives at Weatherford, Valley Forge Technical Information Services, Boots & Coots Group, Halliburton and Champlin Refining and Chemical.

Shu served as thought leader and host of the successful 2012 Oilfield Breakfast Forum, attended by roughly 700 industry professionals. Appointed president of the American Marketing Association (AMA) Houston chapter in 2013, Shu actively provides strategic direction for the largest AMA chapter in North America — including the management of more than 40 board members and approximately 200 volunteers.

In addition to her involvement with AMA, Shu also has professional affiliations with the Production Development Management Association (PDMA), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Women’s Energy Network (WEN), World Affairs Council of Houston and works as a Bauer MBA Society (BMBAS) mentor.
