Camanio Care AB has delivered a BikeAround jDome to Thumbay Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, which is the first installation in the GCC-region.
Through its commercial company Gulf Medical University, Thumbay Group is one of the largest suppliers of healthcare in UAE, with patients from more than 175 countries. The sales deal is a breakthrough in the GCC region and will pave the way for further sales opportunities and collaborations in the region. The hospital is also part of the campus that is currently being built around Gulf Medical University in Ajman and is the most modern rehabilitation facility in the GCC region.
A developing marketplace
Thumbay Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation offers groundbreaking care for the population in United Arab Emirates and also care-tourists. Through the collaboration with the Italian Villa Beretta Rehabilitation Hospital the latest technology can be offered as well as the latest therapeutic possibilities with in the healthcare sector are now to be introduced in this region.
- We will work jointly to drive patient centered care through clinical expertise and research in order to develop evidence based clinical protocols, quality standards and guidelines to benefit the patients. We are redefining the standards for rehabilitation medicine in UAE, says Riccardo Aggujaro, Project manager for the newly opened rehabilitation hospital.
