Camanio Care signs new Distribution agreement in Canada
Camanio Care are continuing our expansion in North America and signs a new Distribution Agreement with the Canadian company Fermanis Group Inc. based in Toronto, Ontario region, Canada.
- We have already today a first customer in Canada and we see that with an ambitious and well connected distribution partner such as Fermanis Group, there is a high potential for growth in North America. The film about BikeAround jDome produced by Google is also gaining interest and traction from the Canadian market says Catharina Borgenstierna, CEO Camanio Care AB.
The Fermanis Group provides consulting services to organizations serving older adults. Their organization provides research, ideation, strategy and operations consulting to clients, which includes retirement and long-term care residences.

George Fermanis began his career in the seniors’ sector by founding eOccupancy Senior Living, which provided sales and marketing services to retirement residences and home care companies across Canada.
According to Business Sweden, Canada and Sweden’s healthcare systems have many similarities and there is a shared common vision to provide public funded comprehensive care to all residents. Canada however, out-spends most other countries (11.5% of GDP) in terms of healthcare investments. Canada shares the same challenges as Sweden with an aging population and increasing cost of healthcare. Many Swedish solutions are of interest since new technologies, services and products can increase efficiency and productivity, reduce labor-associated costs as well as readmission rates of patients.
