UNYQ appoints Catarina Mård Löwenadler to Board of Directors
UNYQ, a revolutionizer of the med tech sector, today announced that Catarina Mård Löwenadler has been appointed as a new member of its Board of Directors. Catarina Mård Löwenadler has a solid background within med tech and entrepreneurship and is Vice President at IKEA of Sweden AB.
UNYQ is in a strong growth phase. The company is planning new product launches within several areas in the year to come as well as an establishment in the Nordics to strengthen upcoming European business opportunities. As a means of preparing the company for further expansion UNYQ is currently strengthening both management and Board, where Catarina Mård Löwenadler is the latest addition.
Catarina Mård Löwenadler is among other things Vice President of IKEA of Sweden AB, as well as a member of the Board at IKEA Supply AG and has for a time conducted a collaboration with UNYQ under the concept of “Democratic Design”. The collaboration has resulted in a prototype that aims at making gaming equipment ergonomic, custom made and last but not least coherent with interior design. In short, a 3D printed chair for gamers.

Chairman of the Board of Directors is Ed Pope, Co-Founder and General Partner at Exponential Partners, one of the largest shareholders of UNYQ. Ed Pope has, for his entire professional life, been an entrepreneur building global companies and also an investor in breakthrough technologies. In addition to several technology company boards, he is also on the Board of Directors of TicTrac, one of the largest health tracking companies in the world.
