“We are extremely grateful for UPM's significant donation, which enables us to support humanitarian work in the most vulnerable conditions to ensure children's survival,” says Anne Haaranen, Director of International Programs at Save the Children Finland.

“In conflict zones around the world, children often bear the greatest emotional and physical burdens. Humanitarian organisations like Save the Children have the best capability and means to coordinate and deliver the necessary support with the integrity we require,” says Saara Tahvanainen, EVP, UPM Marketing, Sustainability and Communications.

“In addition to this support through UPM’s Biofore Share and Care programme, we have invited all our employees to contribute to causes under Save the Children, as we know that UPM teams are eager to help and support good causes.”

UPM’s Biofore Share and Care programme coordinates donations, sponsorships and employee volunteering, focusing on causes and projects that are relevant to our business, support innovation and sustainability, or promote local vitality and wellbeing.
