Mimer SQL Mobile Database Management System to be Available on Symbian OS Uppsala, Sweden, June 25, 2003 -- Upright Database Technology today announced it will deliver the Mimer SQL Mobile database management system on Symbian OS(TM), the open global industry standard operating system for advanced mobile phones. Symbian licenses Symbian OS to the world's leading handset manufacturers including Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Siemens and Sony Ericsson. In total, Symbian OS licensees account for more than 80% of worldwide mobile phone sales.
