The USO Launches Operation Front Lines with a Summer Contest

New Initiative Supports Deployed Troops and Offers Participants Unique Prizes from Coca-Cola, Fox Broadcasting Company and LA Dodgers

WHAT:           USO Operation Front Lines Summer Contest

WHEN:           Contest is available online from Thursday, June 16 to the end of July, 2011. Over the course of six weeks, three prize experiences will be awarded.

WHERE:         Participants can learn more about the USO and Operation Front Lines and enter the contest online at http://www.uso.org/operationfrontlines.

WHY:              The USO has a goal of raising $600,000 in six weeks to support Operation Front Lines. Operation Front Lines is a new initiative to bring a touch of home to our troops serving on the front lines around the world by building a new USO Center in Bagram, Afghanistan as well as increased delivery of forward deployed programs including USO2GO, Operation USO Care Package and Operation Phone Home ®.

DETAILS:       USO fans and military supporters are encouraged to learn more about Operation Front Lines and enter for a chance to win amazing prizes including a VIP Coca-Cola Racing Family Experience; a Hollywood Experience featuring the Fox show Raising Hope; and an LA Dodgers Ultimate Fan Experience including game tickets and Dodger memorabilia.
